Weight – Watermelons are 92% water, so the melon should be very heavy for it’s size
Check for ground spot – A ground spot occurs where the watermelon sat on the ground while ripening.It should be a buttery yellow color.It shouldn’t be too white/green (underripe) or dark yellow (overripe).
